Arrive in Sydney, Australia's largest city. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 6 PM followed by a reception. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 4 PM

DAY 4, Sunday - Sydney Opera House, Full Day in Sydney
Begin your day with a guided tour of the iconic Sydney Opera House, an architectural masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its soaring sail-like design, step inside its renowned performance halls, and learn about the groundbreaking vision of Danish architect Jørn Utzon, along with the fascinating history and controversies that surrounded its construction. Following the tour, stop outside for photos of Sydney Harbour and the Sydney Harbour Bridge, with the Sydney Opera House nearby. This afternoon's panoramic optional tour of Sydney starts at Bondi Beach, popular with surfers, and the fashionable Paddington, with its unique terrace houses. Visit The Gap in Sydney Harbour National Park, where dramatic coastal cliffs and rugged rock formations offer sweeping views of the Tasman Sea on one side and Sydney Harbour on the other, before returning to the city

DAY 5, Monday - Full Day in Sydney
Spend the day in Sydney at leisure for individual explorations, or participate in the optional day excursion to Featherdale Wildlife Park with a river cruise and lunch. Begin the day with a scenic ferry ride from Circular Quay, taking in views of Sydney Harbour along the way. Continue to Featherdale Wildlife Park, home to a wide range of Australian native birds and mammals. Stroll through the park to see koalas, kangaroos, wombats, Tasmanian devils, emus, penguins, and dingoes. After your time at Featherdale, return to the city and walk to The Rocks, Sydney's historic harborside neighborhood, where you'll enjoy lunch and free time to explore

DAY 6, Tuesday - Flight to Cairns
Transfer to the airport in Sydney for your flight to Cairns, the tourist capital of tropical North Queensland and the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure

DAY 7, Wednesday - Full Day in Cairns
Spend today discovering Cairns independently and enjoy all the delights of this resort city on your own or, join the optional Great Barrier Reef Adventure. Travel by catamaran to a spacious pontoon located on the Outer Great Barrier Reef, where you can snorkel in crystal-clear waters teeming with marine life and colorful coral (rising water temperatures and cyclones have resulted in bleaching of the coral reefs. Viewing has been significantly affected due to the slow recovery rates of the coral and the ecosystem). Enjoy snorkeling, a view from underwater observatory, or semi-submersible ride. Indulge in a delicious lunch and unwind on the sun decks. Return to Cairns in the afternoon

DAY 8, Thursday - Full Day in Cairns
The day is free to explore Cairns and the surrounding area on you own or, join the optional Hartley's Wildlife Tour with lunch*. Depart Cairns and head north to explore an eco-park and working crocodile farm. Learn about Australia's incredible wildlife and discover the park's five different ecological zones. Walk along pathways and boardwalks to view the various native fauna and attend live shows and feedings to get acquainted with Australia's wildlife. After lunch, return to Cairns. This afternoon, join the optional Skyrail Experience with dinner*. Ride the Kuranda Skyrail which takes you on an amazing gondola experience over the oldest tropical rainforest in the world. Along the way, stop for a ranger guided boardwalk tour and visit the Rainforest Interpretation Centre, lookouts, and historical displays. Arrive at the historic village of Kuranda, nestled high up the tropical mountains. Spend time at leisure to explore the village and learn about Aboriginal culture. On the descent, marvel at the magnificent views of Barron Falls and Barron Gorge National Park. Conclude your tour with an authentic Australian dinner

DAY 9, Friday - Full Day in Cairns
Spend another day at leisure in tropical Cairns or, learn about Australia's Aboriginal history on an optional visit to the Mossman Gorge. Partake in an authentic Ngadiku Dreamtime Walk, conducted by a local Indigenous guide. Begin with a traditional "smoking" ceremony to cleanse and ward off bad spirits. Then, take a stroll through the stunning rainforest. Along the way, your guide will discuss the Aboriginal traditional ways of life. Then, savor a delicious lunch featuring native bush food. Afterward, return to the hotel. Tonight, attend a reception and bid farewell to your Tour Manager
